Kriya Samadhi Yoga is taught by Jaananda in Ireland. This note covers the teaching website, the registration form, and the contact form. Ireland is under GDPR.
Teaching website
The public pages at kriyasamadhiyoga.com do not ask you for a name or email unless you open Register or Contact. The web server keeps ordinary logs (time, page, browser, and IP) to run and protect the site. We use Matomo, hosted on our own server at galaxius.com, for simple visitor counts. It is not Google Analytics. You can block cookies in your browser; the pages still work.
Registration and contact
From the registration form we store name, email, optional phone and message, and the options you tick: in-person class (including interest in new locations), online class, workshop, volunteer, and news updates. From the contact form we store name, email, optional phone, and your message. The server also stores the time and a technical address (IP) to limit abuse.
We use those details to follow up about a class, online practice, or workshop, to reply to a message, and — only if you tick news — to send occasional updates. A contact message is only treated as ready to reply after you open the confirmation link we email you. The legal basis is your consent. The forms also use a short-lived session cookie so the page can check that the submission is yours. Hidden checks drop automated junk so it is not stored or emailed.
Who sees it
Jaananda. Form records are stored in the site’s MariaDB database on this web server. They are not sold or passed to advertisers.
How long
Server logs and Matomo counts are kept only as long as they are useful to run the site. Registration and contact records are kept as long as they are needed to organise classes and news, or until you ask for them to be removed.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct, or delete your record, or withdraw consent. The unsubscribe link in messages opens a short form (and a follow-up email) so you can stop news, class, online, or workshop contact, or remove yourself from the list entirely. You can also write to jaananda@babaji.com.
